I don't care how big of a sucker I am for paying $260 for a pair of shoes, they are flat out the most comfortable pair I have ever had in my life.

After wearing these non stop for about a week, I can assure you I will never wear socks ever again. These were better than expected. They are 100% quality! If you are on the fence about these, take the leap and buy them already!

A Nice Clean Deck Shoe!4
To be honest, I don't own a boat and I don't go boating very often. I do go Kayaking and Canoeing but this isn't the kind of shoe you wear for those activities. I purchased these because certain deck shoes can be worn as normal tennis shoes and this is a perfect example of just such a deck shoe. I was simply looking for a navy pair of tennis shoes that were a bit classier and a bit cleaner than your average tennis shoe. As soon as I saw the Navy/Light Grey pair of Helly Hansen's Latitude 85 canvas deck shoe I knew I had found what I was looking for.

I just love the look of this shoe. The white contrast stitching down the sides give this shoe a bit of character that a 100% solid navy shoe simply doesn't have. In fact its this stitching that gives the shoe its character as its basically the only design element on the shoe, except of course the HH logo. If you take away the stitching and logo it basically becomes a solid navy shoe and while I was looking for something clean, I wasn't looking for something that clean. I do like at least a little bit of design. While these shoes will go with just about anything, they look particularly nice with a lot of the dark wash jeans that are out there. These are perfect for those times where you want to wear tennis shoes but also want to dress up a little bit.


Overall a great design and very comfortable. Definitely recommended.
